タイトルの「パーフェクト・シチュエーション」(完璧な状況) とは、「モテない男にやってきた千載一遇の恋愛のチャンス」を指します。

曲の主人公はそのチャンスすらを逃し、恋愛に対する恐怖心はより一層強まってしまいます。

「僕は一生寂しく生きるのか」という悲痛な思いは、意外に誰にとっても笑いごとではなく、共感できる節があるのではないでしょうか。
