ザ・ビートルズ – フール・オン・ザ・ヒル
ザ・ビートルズのTV映画のサウンドトラック「Magical Mystery Tour」(1967年) に収録されている曲です。
歌詞の意味と解釈
ポール・マッカートニーによって作られた曲で、ポールによると「丘の上の愚か者」とは、"周りに理解されない実際は賢い孤独な人物"(インドの宗教家マハリシをイメージしたそう) です。
（CD付属のブックレットの解説には「地動説のガリレオ・ガリレイ」と書かれていたので、てっきりそう思っていましたが…）
