同アルバムの4枚目のシングルとして、2001年11月にリリースされました。
チェスター・ベニントンのメロウな歌声と、マイク・シノダのクールなラップが交錯するこの曲は、アルバムの中でも際立っており、ライヴでは常にクライマックスとなる重要な曲です。
歌詞の意味と解釈
「“最後には"、どうでもよくなってしまう」というフレーズが印象的なこの曲は、失恋や破局等、大事な人との別れ(裏切り) をテーマにしたものと思われます。
思い出の中に慰めを見出す事も無く、何もかもどうでもよくなってしまうという心境は、とてもリアルに響きます。
