言葉の意味・解説
・immortal 不滅の
・permission 許可、許可する

・Richard Serra リチャード・セラ。アメリカの彫刻家・映像作家。板金を使った彼の展示作品をスケート場（ハーフパイプ）に例えていると思われます。

雑記
知性と比喩に富んだ、謎かけのような歌詞。イメージが連想を膨らませます。
私の詞の解釈としては、歌詞の舞台はニューヨーク。ガラス細工のようなモダンなビル群の中で行われているのは古臭い金融業。現代アートや気取ったニューヨーカーの行動様式を、茶化した表現で描いています。
鍵となりそうな「You waited since lunch. It all comes at once」は「君が欲しがっているものも、カフェでランチが運ばれてくるみたいにもうじきやってくるよ」という解釈です。そのくらいに、物質的な豊かさと便利さに満たされた現代社会。アートさえもお金で手に入る。でも「肝心な何か」が失われている。真っ白に塗られた空（white sky）みたいに不自然で味気ない。そんな解釈です。
