歌詞の意味と解釈

ボーカリストのアンソニー・キーディスによると、この曲は「“生存" と “やり直し" について歌ったもの」だそうです。

Vocalist Anthony Kiedis states that the track is “about surviving, starting fresh. I’ve made a mess of everything, but I have a blank slate—a canvas of snow—and I get to start over.“

それは、過去の薬物中毒を経た上で「雪のような白紙からの再スタート」のようです。

歌詞の様々な箇所で “ドラッグの暗喩" とみられるものがあり、タイトルの “スノー" も白い粉を指していると言われています。

真っ白な状態からのスタートと、白い粉のダブルミーニングを、自嘲気味に楽しんでいるのかもしれません。
