歌詞の意味と解釈
タイトルを訳すと「君は僕に会ってくれない」となり、歌詞の内容は「恋人から拒絶されている、ある男の心境」を描いたものとなっています。
作品の名義はレノン／マッカートニーですが、実質的にはポール・マッカートニーの作品で、当時の恋人、女優のジェーン・アッシャーとの関係が歌の題材となっているそうです。
（のちに二人は婚約しますが、ポールの女関係のだらしなさから、婚約を破棄されてしまいました）。
