歌詞の意味と解釈
タイトルの「ポーカーフェイス」とは “相手に本心を見せない無表情" を指します。
トランプのゲーム ポーカーでの心理戦から生まれた言葉で、歌詞においても、恋愛の駆け引きや性的な行為が、ポーカーになぞらえて表現されています。
ガガによると、歌詞のテーマはセックスやギャンブルだそうです。
また、歌詞の主人公である女性はバイセクシャルであり、ボーイフレンドと性的関係を持ちながら、女性に抱く興味をポーカーフェイスで隠しているそうです。
