イギリスやアメリカなどではシングル化されていませんが、日本ではシングルとしてリリースされました（B面は『Another Girl』）。
歌詞の意味と解釈
タイトル「ザ・ナイト・ビフォア」を訳すと"(ある出来事の)前の夜“となります。
歌詞では、今日に対する前の夜なので、"昨夜“と訳しました。
昨夜と今日で、態度が変わっている恋人(あるいは好きな異性)に対して、悲観している歌詞です。
