ビデオには何やらストーリー的なものを感じますが、歌詞からはストーリーが見つけにくいです。「Heaven sent you to me」という一節から、「I」は「You」を大事に思っている、と感じました。そこで、「I」が「You」に対して、セラピスト的な立場で導いたり、不安を取り除いたりしている場面を想像しました。「In pitch dark. I go walking in your landscape」も、「君の闇の中を探索している（君を救うために）」というニュアンスです。印象的な「Just 'cause you feel it. Doesn’t mean it’s there」というフレーズの「it」は不安や恐怖などのネガティブな存在で、「Doesn’t mean it’s there」は「大丈夫だよ」という励ましだと解釈してみました。
